Currency Conversions
All prices on Fancy French Cologne are listed in USD, and will be charged as such. Please refer to the following link for free exchanged rate calculations: Foreign Exchange Rate Calculator.
Shipping + Handling
All orders are processed Monday–Friday, excluding holidays. Most orders will be shipped within 2 business days, orders placed Saturday and Sunday will ship out the following Monday (excluding holidays).
Domestic Shipments
All orders to US and Canada will be shipped within 2 business days after you place your order using USPS Priority Mail. Most orders will arrive within 2–3 business days from ship date. You will receive a confirmation email with tracking information once your package has shipped.
Standard domestic shipments for orders of $75.00 or more are FREE.
Standard shipments for orders under $75.00 cost an additional $7 flat rate for shipping.
We do not offer expedited domestic shipping at this time.
International Shipments
We offer two international shipping options:
- USPS Priority Mail International (6–10 business days from ship date), flat rate of $25
- USPS Express Mail International (3-5 business days from ship date), flat rate of $35
USPS Priority Mail International shipments include delivery confirmation and tracking. USPS Express Mail International includes both tracking and signature confirmation, as well as faster delivery. You may be responsible for import duties and taxes on your international order, and may experience customs delays in some cases. Unfortunately, we cannot control these charges or delays and cannot predict what they may be. We suggest that you contact your local customs office for additional information.
Returns + Exchanges
Return Instructions
We want you to love your purchases! If you are unhappy with something you ordered, please mail the item back to us within 30 days using a trackable and insured method, as we cannot be responsible for lost packages.
All items must be unworn, unwashed, in new condition with all tags attached and in their original packaging materials. If an item is received altered or damaged in any way, it is non-returnable and will be returned to the customer.
Free Returns
Your refund will include the original shipping costs. We do not offer refunds on shipping for international orders that were denied by the customer.
Return Processing
Your refund will be processed within 7 days of receipt to the original method of payment. We’ll send you an email once your return has processed to let you know it’s gone through. Please allow up to 3-5 business days for the transaction to post to your account.
Non-Returnable Items + Store Credit
We do not offer returns for the following items:
- Items purchased at a discount of 50% or more
- Vintage items
- Intimates
- Swimwear
Returns of discounted items marked 50% off or more, vintage items, intimates and swimwear are final sale. No refunds or store credit will be issued, the items will be returned to the customer.
Items marked down 49% or less can be returned for a store credit or free exchange, no refunds. Once a return has been processed for store credit, you will receive an email confirmation with a coupon code that will be good for one year. Store credits that have not been redeemed within a year will expire.

Free Exchanges
We keep our supplies rather limited, here’s how to make sure you get the item and size you want to exchange for. Simply place your order for the replacement item, and email us a note saying your order is an exchange. Make sure to have your order numbers and details on the size and color of your item (if applicable). We’ll even waive the shipping charges for you!
Cancellation Policy
Please note that upon placing an order, a receipt is automatically mailed confirming the purchase intent. This receipt does not constitute a contract, and orders may be canceled at any time due to insufficient stock, inability to authorize a credit card, suspicion of fraudulent intent, discovery of an incorrect item price, or any other reason, as we see fit. Please further note that Fancy French Cologne shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not your credit card has been charged. If your credit card has already been charged and your order is canceled, Fancy French Cologne shall issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount previously charged to your card.

All measurements are taken from a size small, unless otherwise noted. Feel free to contact us with any questions regarding the fit of our items. We’re happy to help you make the best decisions based on your body type and personal tastes. You may also view the size chart below for standard size descriptions.

How do I create a new customer account?
When you make your first purchase, you will be given the opportunity to create your account at the end of the transaction. Since you will have already entered all of your information during the transaction, you will only need to provide a password to complete account set-up. Your time is valuable and we want your shopping experience to be as smooth and painless as possible. Once your account has been created you can log-in to track the status of all future purchases and manage your saved shipping and billing information for a quicker checkout.
Where does the name come from?
Our name is excerpted from the song “Carey” by Joni Mitchell, which describes her wild adventures in the Greek isles. In the song, she soaks up an exotic but gritty travel experience, and though she’s having the time of her life, Joni sings: “I miss my clean white linen and my fancy French cologne.” The meaning of this song really resonated with us and has come to define the spirit of our shop. We are for you ladies who are just as comfortable in a fast-paced urban environment as you are hiking a trail or climbing a tree—seeking adventure in everyday life and looking lovely while you’re at it.
Do you sell cologne?
